The Next Meeting of the Programme Committee for the 26th World Congress will take place in Kyoto, March 26-27. At this time, we will continue to plan the plenaries, symposia, and sessions for the next world congress.
In May 14-17, the 2026 Olympiad of Philosophy will take place in Warshaw, Poland. https://www.philosophy-olympiad.org/ The topic announced is Freedom and Reason – and it includes an appeal for peace.
The Next CD-Meeting will take place in Yerevan, Armenia in end of June 2026, where we will discuss the inputs of the Programme Committee and continue to plan the World Congress.
The FISP-Secretariat used to send a Newsletter to all FISP-member societies, and we have link to previous newsletters on our website. However, due to modern means of communication, the newsletter did not survive the internet age. So please consider this message as a short version of such a newsletter. https://www.fisp.org/newsletter
However, what is missing is in this message is relevant information from FISP-societies. So, if you find it appropriate, please send me this relevant information to my email jacrendt@ruc.dk Indeed, this could include information about state of the society, activities, conferences, and relevant links. News from societies will then be distributed with a short email with essential information like this one. Deadline for sending such an email is May 1. 2026. With this, it would be possible to send news about FISP societies in June 2026.
